Congratulations Dean -- a great idea. Good luck with it!

Are you aware, by the way, that Partizan Press have released a new and expanded version of Stuart Asquith's "Solo Wargaming" book which can be bought online from Caliver Books at http://www.caliverbooks.com ? Worth a look.

Great work Deano - hope there are many more to come.
Another set of rules are the "Pony War" rules which are well worth mentioning in a show.

Being a solo wargamer i have a few ideas to share if you are interested.

Forget the new Asquith book: it contains a lot of fluff, has little substance, and the math is just downright bad (the author doesn't appear to understand the difference between 2D6 and 1D12 probability).

Shelldrake, please email any ideas you have to me at: deanocware@msn.com.

Also if there are any other products/items that others would like me to consider for a future show please email me and I will take a look at as many as I can!

Very nice! I look forward to your next podcast.

You've got me thinking about starting a solo campaign.

Hi Deano,

FYI, Barbarian Prince and some of the other Dwarfstar games are available for free on-line, here:

Great start Dean. Very interesting.

I am a big fan of the Legends of Araby system. My review is here (scroll down).

Which other games use the 'degrees of success' system? I know quite a few RPGs that do it, but can't recall any miniatures rules.

Do you know Tales of the Arabian Nights?
